Maryam M. Zadeh is an experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner at Mir Neurology & Spine Center, serving patients across Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
She began her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Tehran University before transitioning into nursing after immigrating to the United States. She earned her BSN cum laude with honors, followed by a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from East Tennessee State University, and a Master’s degree as an Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care, Hospice, and Oncology from King University.
Maryam’s clinical background spans ICU, step-down units, psychiatric wards, and complex patient management. She is also highly skilled in medical Botox injections and previously served as Director of Nursing in skilled nursing facilities.
Passionate about mentorship, Maryam precepts nursing students and nurse practitioners, fostering the next generation of healthcare providers. Multilingual in Farsi, English, Spanish, Turkish, and Arabic, she is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care through clear communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Outside of her professional work, Maryam enjoys outdoor activities and plays both classical and electric guitar.
